Gary Holt opened the Gay & Lesbian Bankruptcy Center in 1992, and since then has helped hundreds of community members regain financial control of their lives. As both a CPA and attorney, Gary’s approach is “holistic” in nature, and he brings his caring and compassionate style of practice to every client’s unique personal situation.

The services he offers include Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy filings, and non-bankruptcy resolution of tax problems through settlements, offers in compromise, and installment agreements with tax agencies.

Many know Gary as the founder and former conductor of the Gay Men’s Chorus of San Diego. He was San Diego Pride’s 1996 Man of the Year, and is a past president of the Greater San Diego Business Association. He represents the GLBT community on the ACLU Board of Directors, and contributes hundreds of volunteer hours each year to the AIDS Legal Clinic and other nonprofit organizations.
