Dr. Christopher Rhoades of Oasis Dentistry started his practice in October 1998 in Tierrasanta as an independent contractor with an existing practice. In December 2002 He opened his own office under the name Oasis Dentistry in Mission Valley. The name Oasis (inspired by a love of the beach and tropics) was chosen to reflect the relaxing, gentle and tropical feel of the office, truly unique in San Diego. The practice goal is to provide high quality comprehensive dentistry in a gentle manner with open discussion between patients and staff. The staff at Oasis thoroughly enjoys getting to know each and every person that becomes a part of their family.

Dr. Rhoades and his associate, Dr. John Koett, offer comprehensive dentistry for the whole family with a special emphasis on cosmetic dentistry. If you hate your smile, they can change it! The joy a new smile brings is their greatest satisfaction. Both doctors believe strongly in educating patients on different treatment options and ways to maintain healthy teeth that look and feel terrific. They recognize the fact that many people are fearful of the dentist so they do their best to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment. Overhead television viewing and stereo headphones are provided for your entertainment. Patients can also bring their favorite DVD to watch as treatment is provided. To accommodate busy schedules, Oasis Dentistry offers early morning, evening and Saturday appointments. Most major insurances are accepted and interest-free financing plans are offered.

Dr. Rhoades is a San Diego native who grew up in the communities of Serra Mesa and Tierrasanta. He knew he wanted to become a dentist since he was 8 years old.
