Patti and John Burson are the owners and operators of Nu Yu Clinical Weight Loss, a clinical, medically supervised weight loss program in the Hillcrest Area. They opened their doors on May 1, 2004. They are a husband and wife team who decided to combine their experience and talents to help people achieve their health and fitness goals.

Their program is unique because they use all natural products and easy-to-follow meal plans to help their clients meet their weight loss goals. Nu Yu Clients also receive the essential support of one-on-one care. In the short time their doors have been open, Nu Yu’s clients have been losing an average of three to five pounds a week.

Long time residents of San Diego, Patti and John Burson have many years of experience working in the health and fitness industry. Patti also has a degree in counseling and has owned and managed a number of successful weight-loss clinics throughout San Diego County, providing clients with those vital intangibles that inspire them to succeed. John is a certified personal trainer who has extensive knowledge in physiology and nutrition.

They both say they “love Hillcrest because of the friendly and easy-going atmosphere.”
