Remains: Mo’olelo explores the journey of a mother and daughter through the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Remains, a play about perspective, truth and whose truth is true. Eve Selis: The whiskey-and-lemonade-voiced roadhouse rocker Eve Selis plays at El Cajon’s annual series of free outdoor concerts on the Prescott Promenade in downtown El Cajon from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Bring a picnic to eat on the lawn or enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants now open on Main Street. Ray at Night: The second Saturday of every month is Ray at Night on Ray Street in North Park, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Multiple galleries stay open late, featuring live music, beverages and refreshments. The free event is located on Ray Street between University Avenue and North Park Way.
Ballroom dance lessons: Ever wanted to dance with a partner to the wonderful strains of beautiful waltz, fox trot, tango or rumba? Join Rosemary Ward at The Center for lessons in International Latin and Standard styles at The Ballroom Dance Experience. The class takes place at The Center starting at 12:00 noon.
