Gun-owning, gay talk host to read in North Park, July 1
Tammy Bruce, the openly gay, pro-choice, pro-death penalty, gun-owning, voted-for-Reagan feminist, will make a special appearance at Current Affairs Bookstore in North Park on Tuesday, July 1. Bruce, a longtime Los Angeles radio talk host, has appeared on “The O’Rielly Factor,” “Larry King Live,” “CNN” and other programs.
Though pro-choice, Bruce has been attacked by the left for her moderate to conservative views — many of which are discussed in her new book, The Death of Right and Wrong. In the book, Bruce argues that factions on the left are successfully undermining morals and values in American culture in order to further their own political agendas. And in doing so, says Bruce, they have blurred the distinction between right and wrong. Bruce will speak at 7:30 p.m. Current Affairs is located at 2536 University Ave. in North Park. For more information, call (619) 795-9899.
