Community Coalition Breakfast: The Center holds it’s monthly Community Coalition Breakfast on the third Friday of every month, starting promptly at 7:30 a.m. in the auditorium. Dine out for the Marriage Equality Express: Marriage Equality California’s San Diego chapter is holding a fundraiser for the National Marriage Equality Express at Chevy’s in Mission Valley (1202 Camino Del Rio North) from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Fifteen percent of anything under $1,000 and 20 percent of anything over $1,000 will be donated to the cause from supporters who print out the Marriage Equality flyer (visit Out & About at www.gaylesbiantimes.com for a link) You MUST print out the following flyer and bring it with you to Chevy’s in order for them to get the donations. Anthony White, chair of Immigration Equality and Nadine Jernewall, co-chair of MECA San Diego will be traveling across the country Oct. 4-11 with the Marriage Caravan in order to bring awareness to two important and related issues: the Permanent Partners Immigration Act and marriage equality.

Bingo night at The Center: Come on, when was the last time you played Bingo? Well get with it! The game is back in vogue, and on the first three Tuesdays of every month it’s even for a good cause. The Center’s seven-year tradition has raised over $100,000 for programs and social services at The Center. Doors to the auditorium open at 6:15 p.m., and games last until 9:30 p.m. Admission for 10 games is $10 for a six-card game pad. Additional pads can be purchased for $5 each. Prizes for the first nine games are $50 and the last game played is $100. You must be at least 18 to play. Call (619) 692-2077 for more information.
Friends chill: Every Tuesday night starting at 9:00 p.m., the Whistle Stop opens up the game cupboard and lets the drink specials flow for “Friends Chill”, an evening of Monopoly, chess and other board games, good jukebox music and extended happy hour prices.
