Sapphic Cinema: The Women’s Resource Center at The Center hosts a film series of works by, for and about lesbian, bisexual, transgender and feminist women on the fourth Friday of every month. This month’s film is All Over Me. All movie nights are free and open to the public. Concessions will be available for sale, with proceeds benefiting the Women’s Resource Center. Start holiday shopping early: The Harvest Festival, one of the oldest and most prestigious arts and craft shows in the country, comes to the Del Mar Fairgrounds Sept. 24-26. The festival, featuring handmade arts and crafts from over 300 vendors, plus gourmet food and entertainment, runs 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday. AIDS Walk: Join the 12,000 people expected at 8:00 a.m. in Balboa Park this year for Southern California’s largest one-day fundraiser for HIV/AIDS services. Adams Avenue Street Fair: Normal Heights’ renaissance is evident in the eclectic, mixed crowd at Southern California’s largest free music festival.
