Dr. Shamblaw is a board-certified family physician who has been in practice for 14 years, and is also certified by the American Academy of HIV Medicine as a specialist in HIV/AIDS care. His office caters primarily to the needs of the gay and lesbian community and his office is located in the heart of Hillcrest. He provides up-to-date medical care in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

Dr. Shamblaw did his medical training in his home country of Canada, in Montreal. He has held teaching positions in family practice at McGill University and Boston University. He is fluent in French and is an avid skier.

Dr. Shamblaw has volunteered time in the community, leading several patient education programs at Being Alive; he was the recipient of their 2003-04 Health Hero award. He appreciates the small-town feel of the Hillcrest community and enjoys living and working in the area.
