Community Coalition Breakfast: The Center and Deputy Mayor Toni Atkins hold their monthly Community Coalition Breakfast on the third Friday of every month, starting promptly at 7:30 a.m. in the auditorium. This week’s topic is the importance of civic participation and voting in the coming election. Jersey Boys outing: The Center’s Front and Center Club holds its second outing for GLBT theater lovers with Jersey Boys, a world premiere musical about doo-wop sensation The Four Seasons… from the mean streets to American Bandstand and the world. Haunted planetarium: The Haunted Planetarium in the IMAX Theater at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park is a spooky but fun haunted pre-show that plays before IMAX films Forces of Nature and Volcanoes of the Deep Sea. Tickets are $9.75 to $11.75.
