Plush Puppies Kennel and Daycare opened in 2002 to help busy people take care of their pets. Owner Catz Plush provides daycare, boarding for cats and dogs, grooming, and door-to-door pet pick-up and delivery services. Recently added to the Plush Puppies family is the puppy limo-mobile. That’s right – your dog will get picked up in a limo for doggy daycare.

At Plush Puppies, your furry friends are like family. Your dog is encouraged to play in an expansive fenced area all day long. Located among beautiful hills in Eastern San Diego, Plush Puppies provides the perfect environment consisting of grass, dirt, concrete, tree-shaded spaces and even a large water fountain for puppy frolicking! Dogs enjoy endless cuddling, pre-screening for behavior problems and flees, a veterinarian on call 24 hours a day, feedings with their own food for consistency, medication administration and daily reporting for weight gain, behavior or elimination problems. Also available is cat boarding in the cattery, an area separate from the dogs.

Catz Plush started Plush Puppies Kennel & Daycare after more than a decade in the real estate and finance industry. She decided she wanted a change of pace and picked her passion – animals – for her new career. Along with her brother, Chris, she works to ensure your pet is loved and cared for when they’re at Plush Puppies. So whether it’s an afternoon of rest for you, an extended vacation or daytime care while you’re at work, you’ll never have to worry about your pet!

When Catz is not busy at Plush Puppies, she functions as an ambassador for GSDBA. Giving back to the community is very important to her, and she has donated weekends at the daycare center to San Diego Human Dignity Foundation, to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and at many benefit auctions.
