Before Liam Neeson takes a spin as a bisexual researcher in the upcoming movie Kinsey, he’s going to stop by for a night of live entertainment (as long as Ashlee Simpson’s not involved in this show).

‘American Music Awards’ on ABC at 8:00 p.m.

Why get out of the habit of watching ABC on Sunday nights? “Desperate Housewives” may not be on, but plenty of live performances pack this three-hour awards ceremony, including Usher, Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani and Jessica Simpson (we’re assuming she still sings live).

‘The Amazing Race’ on CBS at 9:00 p.m.

Move over “Survivor”, there’s a new reality darling on the block. After winning a pair of Emmy’s, CBS’s reality show that puts couples’ relationship’s under the microscope during a race around the world is finally getting a little respect, and this is one reality show worth watching.

Tom Hanks produces and stars as five characters in this screen adaptation of the beloved children’s book of the same name. Polar Express tells the story of a boy who maintains his belief in Santa Claus despite the teasing of his more cynical friends. The boy’s conviction is rewarded one Christmas Eve when a steam train appears in front of his house and carries him and his disbelieving friends off to the North Pole.

Pierce Brosnan plays a crook in After the Sunset. After his last big job, he retires to the island paradise he’s dreamed about for years, but he quickly tires of the easy life. When his lifelong nemesis arrives, they start up a cat-and-mouse game based on suspicion and friendship.

The fifth installment of the Child’s Play horror franchise, Seed of Chucky, follows the homicidal doll as he deals with the trials of becoming a father. Jennifer Tilly voices the role of Tiffany and plays herself in the horror flick, while Brad Dourif reprises the voice of Chucky.
