“A&D Steel, Inc. would like to offer our sincere apologies to Mike Frasca and the entire San Diego Gay and Lesbian community.”
Dear Editor
A&D Steel, Inc. would like to offer our sincere apologies to Mike Frasca and the entire San Diego Gay and Lesbian community.
On December 3, 2004, an employee of A&D Steel, Inc. made some extremely inappropriate comments to Mr. Frasca at The Cairo job site.
This employee did not and does not represent the attitude of this company in regards to the Gay and Lesbian Community of San Diego. The employee was severely reprimanded for the incident. This employee will never be allowed on this project or any other projects in the area of the Gay and Lesbian communities of San Diego. Sensitivity training has always been a standard practice for our company and will be an issue that we will pay even greater attention to in the future to avoid any possible harassment issues from ever arising.
We always have worked closely with the local communities we are doing projects in and will continue to do so in the future.

“I do hope in the future issues GLT that the vital issues which are facing the City of San Diego, California, and America, begin to put into print.”
Dear Editor:
Issue 885, Jewish and Gay, is on the front cover, with a Jewish Gay man. Therefore, this is a double Queer man, who belongs to a 4,000 year Queer People. Insofar, I do write a column for Zengers, and I’m not gay places me on the opposite side of the issue of a supposed non-issue.
Goldsborough formerly off the U-T was fired, his last column was spiked by David Copley, due to the fact, he wanted to write of the large numbers of Jewish voters on behalf of Kerry. Moreover, Jewish Gays were doubly murdered by the Germans, due to the aforementioned.
However, this Jewish Gay finds in his own people an acceptance, and he is rejected or faces anti-Semitism by the Gay Community. Latent anti-Semitism is a way of life in America, whereas, its of a liberal/progressive POV, should be put to rest, now and forever more. Harvey Love, was an exception in the GL Community and wasn’t the rule. Needless, to state, that GL’s are in the majority Christians. Therefore, GL’s do carry with them the same baggage which prevails in the majority culture.
Israel overall does have GL’s who are serving in the Armed forces. Notwithstanding, none of them have to state their sexual preference upon entering or serving the armed forces. Whereupon, this example has to set in the American Armed forces, duly.
I do hope in the future issues GLT that the vital issues which are facing the City of San Diego, California, and America, begin to put into print. The demographic, power, of the GLs, is just beginning to the fore.

“U don’t have to be a psychologist to know that the author of that anti-DER gutter garbage is ‘nuttier than a fruitcake’”.
Dear Editor:
That nasty, lying, viscious letter U foolishly and carelessly published against entertainer/singer/actress/Gay icon Diva DIANA ROSS was needless and real trash! If U knew anything about Gay history, U would know that DIANA was #1 at the original Stonewall Club — and every other Gay bar in America – in 1969 at a time we needed all the entertainment, happiness and comfort we could get. It was not in abundance! Who are U gonna trash next? Judy or Babs?? When the New York City Police Dep’t raided the Stonewall Club — and WE then launched the modern Gay rights movement which benefits even the imbecilic creep that sent U that poisonous missile – who was playing on the Stonewall jukebox? DIANA ROSS (& THE SUPREMES)!!! “No Matter What Sign You Are”. Now U all know.
U don’t have to be a psychologist to know that the author of that anti-DER gutter garbage is “nuttier than a fruitcake”. Speaking of which, have a Supreme holiday! And for 2005, let the GLBT community “Stop! The Hate”.
