Since I almost never eat lunch out, my partner, Jon, has selected El Zarape for scallop burritos.

How often do you cook at home?

Almost all the time

Do you prefer cooking with others or banish all human life from your kitchen?

For simple meals, anyone is welcome to help me. For more impressive meals, Jon cooks and I entertain the guests.

Name three items that are always in your refrigerator.

Big City “everything” bagels and Trader Joe’s Caribbean fruit floes in the freezer, mild cheddar cheese in the refrigerator.

Name three people, living or dead, you’d most like to invite for dinner.

My father and Jon’s mother (both deceased) and our dog Lily, who needs no invitation. OK, a serious third choice would be Ann Richards, former governor of Texas.
