Alternative Strategies will be celebrating three years in business Aug. 1. In a short amount of time, Alternative Strategies has built an impressive client list that includes 24 Hour Fitness, the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) San Diego chapter and Smooth Jazz 98.1FM. Beginning with just one employee, Alternative Strategies has grown to a team of eight. Alternative Strategies works with their clients to create an effective advertising plan that includes television, radio, Internet, direct mail and print advertising. Due to the efforts of Alternative Strategies, their clients have been featured on every television station in San Diego, in over 30 newspapers/magazines and on top radio stations.
William Lopez, President of Alternative Strategies, has been recognized as one of San Diego Metropolitan magazine’s “40 Under Forty,” based on his leadership abilities, community involvement and success. The San Diego Business Journal also recognized Alternative Strategies as one of the best companies to work for in San Diego.
Serving on the board of the Greater San Diego Business Association (GSDBA), Lopez was part of the committee that put together the GSDBA’s “From Gay to Z” business and marketing expo this year. Alternative Strategies has donated their services to many community organizations, including the GSDBA, San Diego Human Dignity Foundation and Stepping Stone.
