Imaginary Heroes
Tim Travis (Emile Hirsch) is walking through his life like it’s a bad dream. His mother (Sigourney Weaver) has a healthy drug habit and a secret that is literally tearing her apart. Tim’s father (Jeff Daniels) is a shell of the man he once was, crippled by circumstance and blind to the mistakes of his past. As painful revelations are made that threaten to divide the family, moments of laughter and truth provide the salve that ultimately brings them closer together.

Penelope Cruz stars in Pedro Almodovar’s comedy Volver, which means “return” in Spanish. The film centers on three women who travel to Madrid from southern Spain to find a better, more fruitful life.

While imprisoned for a crime he did not commit, a man believes he can travel through time. By swaying through different states of mind, he attempts to prolong his life so he can solve his own murder and search for his true love.
