The America’s Finest City Softball League plays games each Sunday starting at 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Poway Sportsplex and Mira Mesa at Hourglass Park.

The San Diego Sparks soccer team takes to the field every week in the San Diego County Soccer League. Prospective players are also invited to come out and join the team for their weekly practices at Robb Field in Ocean Beach on Friday nights at 6:00 p.m.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday at City Heights Municipal Pool (4083 Landis St.) from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday at the National City Pool (1800 E. 22nd St., National City) from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m.; and Sunday mornings at the National City Pool from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.

The San Diego Bulldogs offer two practices a week at The Center. Sunday practices take place from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Thursday night practices are from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. All practices take place in the auditorium of The Center. For more information, call (619) 491-4747.

San Diego Rainbow Scuba Club The San Diego Rainbow Scuba Club is open to all levels of divers. The club mostly dives from local shores, but occasionally conducts local boat trips and foreign warm-water travel. For more information about the club please email thxsil@yahoo.com

The Front Runners meet at the corner of Sixth Avenue and Laurel Street every Monday and Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 8:00 a.m., for 3-6 mile runs or 2-3 mile walks. The Front Runners North County chapter meets at 9:00 a.m. on the second and fourth Saturday of every month at Magee Park in Carlsbad.

The San Diego Armada Rugby Football Club is recruiting players. Join them every Sunday in Balboa Park for a formal practice from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Veterans War Memorial Building in Balboa Park. The team also holds practices on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Robb Field in Ocean Beach.
