Life in Focus: An autobiography-writing group for GLBT seniors 50 and over takes place on the second Friday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at The Center. Last roundup: The Golden State Peace Officers Association, the GLBT support group for California’s firefighters, public service, police, highway patrol and probation officers, hosts its “Last Roundup” at 8:00 p.m. at Kickers/Hamburger Mary’s, located at 308 University Ave. The public is invited to participate in the fun, with 100 prize giveaways and events – including GSPOA members conducting searches, handcuffing and placing your friends in jail for a $1 donation. Ray At Night: The second Saturday of every month is Ray At Night on Ray Street in North Park, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Multiple galleries stay open late, featuring live music, beverages and refreshments. The free event is located on Ray Street between University Avenue and North Park Way.

Art tribute: A tribute to local artist Muriel Fisher, who passed away in February, takes place from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. at Many Hands Gallery, located at 302 Island Ave., # 101 in the Gaslamp Quarter. Fisher’s artistic medium was collecting “found junk” recycling it and creating beautifully crafted art pieces out of bits of fabric, beads, yarn, feathers, buttons, and objects from nature. Vincent in Brixton: A play loosely based on Vincent van Gogh’s early life in London paints the artist as a brash young Dutchman unsure of what he wants to do in life, until he rents a room from an English widow, with whom he shares a passionate relationship. 50+ drawing and painting class: Would you like to learn basic figure drawing and painting or portraits, still life and abstracts? Bingo night at The Center: The game is back in vogue, and on the first three Tuesdays of every month, it’s even for a good cause. The Center’s seven-year tradition has raised over $100,000 for programs and social services at The Center. Doors to the auditorium open at 6:15 p.m., and games last until 9:30 p.m. Admission for 10 games is $10 for a six-card game pad. Additional pads can be purchased for $5 each. Prizes for the first nine games are $50 and the last game played is $100. You must be at least 18 to play. (619) 692-2077.
Club Vaya!: The Air Conditioned Lounge hosts Club Vaya! – with DJs SK and Sesqui spinning hard salsa, mambo, boogaloo and Latin soul.
