Tips for inside the home
Published Thursday, 14-Apr-2005 in issue 903
When transforming the inside of your home, sometimes it’s a matter of just refreshing what’s already there, says Sean Barns of Visual Lovin Spoonful, a design company here in San Diego.
To get started, first assess what the distinctive features of the space are, such as lighting, wall height, floor space, curves and textures. Determine what style you want to achieve: ’70s retro? Modern Asian? You can enhance that particular look with the latest accessories and a fresh coat of paint. Even a single chair, and not even a costly one, can completely transform a room. Discover something that adds a surprise punch, create a focal point, get creative!
For more tips, check out Visual Lovin Spoonful. Their gig is transforming commercial and residential areas by preserving the integrity of its existing personality and purpose. Because you are not starting from scratch, you benefit from an economical standpoint. For more information, call Sean Barns at (619) 341-3192.
