What is currently your favorite eatery?
My favorite place is Pacifica Del Mar, a seafood restaurant, and Sbicca in Del Mar, which is American cuisine.
Do you have a favorite dish from any San Diego restaurant?
I always try to order something different, and almost always order something from the specials board because those are the things the kitchen really wants to make.
What is your favorite lunch spot?
I like the little Fish Market in Mission Valley. It’s less of a tourist place.
How often do you cook at home?
My husband cooks. He used to be a chef. I’m more the front-of-house person.
Do you prefer cooking with others or banish all human life from your kitchen?
I like to watch people work in the kitchen, especially professionals; it’s so fast-paced and overwhelming.
Name three things that are always in your refrigerator.
Wheat germ, ketchup and a bottle of champagne. You never know when you may need any of these.
Name three people, living or dead, you’d most like to invite to a dinner party.
Thomas Jefferson, Bill Clinton and Frida Kahlo – Bill would flirt with her.
