On the first Friday of every month from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wearhaus hosts a showcase of original clothing and accessories by some of San Diego’s most talented local artists and designers. Cho’s ‘Assassin’: If we’ve told you once, we’ve told you a million times: Margaret Cho’s “Assassin” tour comes to Copley Symphony Hall at 7:30 p.m. and again at 10:00 p.m., and you’d better not miss it, as Ms. Cho tells it like it is about politics, gay men, sex and, of course, her mother. The Last Sunday in June: Korbett Kompany’s latest play, The Last Sunday in June, follows Tom and Michael, partners for seven years, through New York’s Greenwich Village on the day of the annual Pride parade. What starts out as a relaxing day of shopping turns into a serious discussion about self-acceptance and what it is to be gay, eventually calling their own relationship into question. Jewish tango cabaret: As part of the 12th annual Lipinsky Family San Diego Jewish Arts Festival, Argentinean artists perform dance and song that tells the story of Jewish tango in Europe, Argentina and Israel, performed in Yiddish, Hebrew and Spanish.
