After successfully operating Surfside Dermatology in Encinitas for five years, Dr. William Heimer is pleased to have opened a Hillcrest office recently. Hillcrest Advanced Aesthetic Dermatology, located on Fourth Avenue, offers similar services as the Surfside practice and represents the merging of cosmetic dermatology and surgical procedures for the maximum benefit of his patients.

Patients of Dr. Heimer and his associates can enjoy a number of groundbreaking procedures such as Sculptra, a breakthrough treatment to plump up facial depressions whose treatments last two to three years; Mesotherapy, a non-surgical procedure that melts fat using a fat-dissolving substance injected into the skin with tiny, painless needles; and VelaSmooth, another weapon for cellulite removal that utilizes the power of elos, bipolar radio frequency and light. Dr. Heimer has medical licenses for the states of California, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has published numerous articles and presented pertinent material to the American Academy of Dermatology, and has also participated in research studies on various dermatological conditions.

Dr. Heimer feels grateful to live in San Diego and is a strong supporter of The Center and their Youth Housing Initiative. Dr. Heimer not only supports The Center, but has benefited from its many services. He co-parents three children – Heidi, Hannah and David – and lives with his partner, Charles, near Balboa Park.
