Come out and get wet with San Diego’s very own gay water polo team. Co-ed practices are held every Saturday at the Clairemont Recreation Center Pool starting at 10:00 a.m. Practices are open to all skill levels.

The San Diego Flag Football League has a new home, on the corner of Park Blvd. and Zoo Dr./Morley Field Dr. at the northeast corner of the San Diego Zoo. Come out and take a shot at flag football Saturday afternoons from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.

The Rainbow Volleyball Alliance will take over the Balboa Gym, Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, and Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. On Sunday afternoons they set up courts along 6th Ave.

Spending your Wednesday evenings hitting the courts with members of the San Diego Hoops basketball league at the Golden Hills Recreation Center from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. They play scrimmage games, first come first serve. New players are always welcome and it’s a great way to warm up for next season.

The San Diego Pool Association will begin their 51st season on Monday, July 28. All skill levels are welcome. Play takes place on Monday nights from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Anyone interested in joining a team should contact Mike at (619) 281-6208. The Front Runners meet at the corner of 6th and Laurel every Monday and Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 8:00 a.m., for 3-6 mile runs or 2-3 mile walks.

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the swim team will be at the City Heights Municipal Pool at 4380 Landis St. from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday night practices will be at the Coronado Municipal Pool, from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday morning practices will also be at Coronado, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
