RJ Blake started his career with State Farm in June of 1989, after graduating from SDSU. Over the past 14 years he has helped numerous State Farm clients in various states put their lives back in order after a loss. Blake takes pride in helping his clients in their time of distress. While working in the claims department at State Farm, he learned a great deal about providing service and meeting his client’s needs.

State Farm’s mission is to help their customers manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams.

One of Blake’s dreams, having an agency in Hillcrest, came true on June 1, 2002. While most people know State Farm for auto and fire insurance, these represent but a fraction of the insurance services Blake provides for his clients.

Like other State Farm agents, Blake is part of the community he serves. Most of his efforts over the past year have been devoted to developing his agency, though he still finds time to enjoy working and living in the Hillcrest area. Blake’s participation in the Greater San Diego Business Association (GSDBA) and the Hillcrest Business Association have been key to the success of his business.
