Walter Busuttil’s business involves all aspects of kitchen and bathroom remodeling and has been in operation for 20 years.

“I remodeled my first home and enjoyed the experience so much I made a career change from fashion design,” Busuttil said.

One of his projects within the community was showcased in the April issue of San Diego Magazine. Over the years, he has received various awards from San Diego Home and Garden magazine.

Along with having a good understanding of his clients’ needs and their budget, Busuttil said he has extensive knowledge of all the products involved in kitchen and bathroom remodeling, and can advise his clients as to quality and cost effectiveness.

“My estimates are very detailed,” he said, adding that he keeps strict adherence to time schedules.

Along with great attention to detail in all areas of the project, Busuttil supervises the onsite work, and said he is always available to discuss any issues his clients may have.

Born in South Africa to European parents, Busuttil studied design and fashion in Johannesburg. His father was an architect, and he said his love of design runs in the family.

Busuttil moved to the United States in 1979 and opened his first business designing and manufacturing women’s clothing.

He said he has done work in the community for several years and has found that the majority of his clients have “excellent esthetic values.”
