What is currently your favorite eatery?

Brians’ American Eatery.

Do you have a favorite dish from any San Diego restaurant?

The Western Bull from Brians’.

What is your favorite lunch spot?

I love sitting in Balboa Park, eating a sandwich and watching people.

How often do you cook at home?

Almost daily. I’m lucky enough that my partner, Curtis Gilbert, loves homemade meat and potatoes.

Do you prefer cooking with others or banish all human life from your kitchen?

Considering the size of our kitchen, I pretty much have to banish all human life.

Name three things that are always in your refrigerator.

Light mayonnaise, butter and mustard.

Name three people, living or dead, you’d most like to invite to a dinner party.

Barbara Bush to ask her where she went wrong, Julia Child to see if she likes my apple pie, and Dolly Parton because I hear she gives good hugs.
