Del Mar Harvest Festival: It’s the largest art and gift show on the West Coast, with over 300 exhibitors. There’s interaction with the artists on-hand, live entertainment and gourmet specialty foods. The fair is Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $8.50 for adults and $4.50 for kids. Sapphic Cinema: The Women’s Resource Center at The Center hosts a film series of works by, for and about lesbian, bisexual, transgender and feminist women on the fourth Friday of every month at 7:00 p.m. This month’s film is The Incredibly True Adventures of Two Girls in Love. Diavolo: Part sideshow spectacle, part dance theater, Diavolo is an ensemble of dancers, gymnasts and actors that creates imaginative, innovative and athletically challenging works. Diavolo will perform seven pieces, including the company’s awe-inspiring Trajectoire. The show starts at 8:00 p.m. and tickets are $32-$36. Call the UCSD box office at (858) 534-TIXS. Lavender Lens anniversary party: A community celebration to commemorate the fourth anniversary of Lavender Lens magazine kicks off at Six Degrees at 7:00 p.m. The event will feature a complimentary buffet and champagne toast, as well as live entertainment and a silent auction. Adams Avenue Street Fair: This year’s all-ages street fair will include more than 80 musical acts performing on seven stages spread out over an eight-block radius. Enjoy a variety of music, including blues, roots rock, world, Latin jazz, reggae, alt-country and zydeco. The fair runs on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Adams Avenue is located in Normal Heights. (619) 282-7329.

Autumnal Equinox Celebration: Join forces with Cognitive RISE Productions and the sound of Moontribe in a two-day campout and music festival at Camp Culcha. Come out and decompress in the San Diego mountains 30 miles east of the city, on 250 acres of exquisite land. Workshops begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Bring water, camping equipment, warm and cold clothes and food. Reel Paradise: The film follows noted indie film maven John Pierson (author of Spike, Mike, Slackers & Dykes and co-creator of IFC’s “Split Screen”), who took his family to Fiji in search of “the world’s most remote movie theater.” Falling in love with the 180 Meridian Cinema when he saw the wild enthusiasm of the audience, Pierson decided to move to Fiji to operate the cinema and show free movies. He also saw this unique year-long adventure as a great opportunity to introduce his family to a culture and lifestyle far different from that of the New York City suburbs. Gore Gore Gore Girls: This all-girl punk and R&B quartet from Detroit takes the stage at the Casbah.
