With over 17 years of real estate experience, John Ackert’s business has grown leaps and bounds.

“I have learned that professional, dedicated and quality service makes all the difference,” he said.

Ackert has been a part of the Prudential California Realty community for many years. His parents are real estate developers in Rancho Santa Fe, and that’s how he got his start.

“Real estate is in my blood,” he said. “My mother was an agent, and after growing up in this exciting and ever-changing industry, I knew I had to be a part of it.”

Ackert sells real estate ranging from North County horse ranches to Mission Hills homes and metro San Diego condos.

A professional horse trainer, he competes at American Quarter Horse events, and has worked with Joan Embry at the San Diego Zoo. He has also been part of the planning committee for Stepping Stone’s annual Living Out Loud event.

Of the non-profit GLBT recovery organization, Ackert said, “There are a handful of locations throughout the U.S., and we are lucky enough to have one here in San Diego. This [Living Out Loud] is the event that is the major money-maker of the year. I do this event as my way of supporting the community, my beliefs and getting to share with others. I believe we all need to give back, and this is a charity that is close to my heart.”
