Cilena Mosley celebrates the So Cal Scorpions’ 27-14 win over the Los Angeles Amazons in their opening playoff game on Oct. 29. The win improved the Scorpions’ record to 10-1 overall. The Scorpions face the undefeated Dallas Diamonds (10-0) on Saturday, Nov. 5, in the Women’s Professional Football League (WPFL) American Conference championship. If the Scorpions win, they will play for the WPFL championships in San Diego on Nov. 19. The playoff win marks the first time a San Diego women’s professional team has made it to a conference championship.
