The team finished in second place with a time of 25:50 in the three-person male category of the 5K course. The Front Runners also had the second best time out of all team categories in the competition. One-third of the race consisted of obstacles ranging from fox holes and barriers to trenches and push-up stations. The first place three-man team, the Miramar Wingers, was comprised of members from the Marines, who also had the best overall time at 23:04.
