Marin began singing professionally at the age of 11, and by 18 he was touring the country’s top jazz clubs under the name Peter Marino. After a few years, his career shifted to music licensing, artistic management and concert/event promotion, which he has continued for over 30 years.

Marin has extensive experience in marketing, producing musical variety specials for television and producing live celebrity performances. He has worked with such great artists as Sammy Davis, Jr., Bill Cosby, Ray Charles, Patti Page, Luciano Pavarotti and Chicago, among others.

In December 1998, Marin and his wife, Kay, welcomed their daughter, Marissa, into their lives. “I didn’t want to miss Marissa’s early years, so I decided to forgo the road,” Marin said. “Long story short: Here I am. I love San Diego. I love working at Kearny Mesa, and I love being home every night with my family.”
