San Diego Boat Show: See and buy everything from luxury yachts, kayaks and state-of-the-art marine electronics to fishing and diving gear. The San Diego Boat Show takes place Friday, Jan. 6, from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m.; Saturday, Jan. 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; and Sunday, Jan. 8, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The marina portion of the show closes at 6:00 p.m. each night. The show takes place at the San Diego Convention Center, located at 111 West Harbor Dr. Entrance fees are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 to 16. Children under 12 are free. Del Mar Antique Show and Sale: The antiques, vintage collectibles and decorator items of more than 250 premier antique dealers from all over California and the western U.S. will be up for sale at the Del Mar Antique Show and Sale. Antiques and collectibles include glass, pottery, paper ephemera, crystal, jewelry, art, silver, Americana, primitive, American and European furniture and much more. Show hours are Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. General admission is $8. Aaron Bowen: Take in the acoustic pop sounds of San Diego native Aaron Bowen at a free show at Borders Book Music & Café at 8:00 p.m. The singer/songwriter, whose main influences include the Beatles and Cat Stevens, has a ’70s-inspired sound. Graham Nash photo exhibit: A photography collection by Graham Nash opens Jan. 8 and runs until April 30 at the Museum of Photographic Arts. Though he is well known as a central figure in rock ’n’ roll music, Nash is also a widely acknowledged pioneer in the world of digital photography and printing. His recent book, Eye to Eye, forms the basis of the work in the show, with new additions from his current work. MoPA is open Monday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Thursdays until 9:00 p.m. Gallery admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students, seniors and military. Music and Art: This popular concert series allows audiences to hear period works while surrounded by Renaissance and Baroque paintings. In this performance, San Diego Symphony member Mary Barranger treats audiences to an afternoon of solo harpsichord music. The performance starts at 2:00 p.m. in the Hibben Gallery. Kundalini yoga class: The Center’s Women’s Resource Center offers a free Kundalini Yoga class every Monday at 5:45 p.m. Kundalini Yoga is an ancient science that combines postures, movements, breath, stretching, relaxation, meditation, rhythm and sound current to work on the physical, mental and subtle aspects of being. Gentleman’s Martini Night: San Diego’s weekly gathering for gay professionals and friends takes place at a different location each week. There are no membership fees, cover charges or hidden agendas. The event takes place each week from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at some of the best known hotels and resorts in San Diego, Coronado and La Jolla. There is a mandatory dress code: dressy casual or business attire. No tank tops, cut-off sleeve shirts, T-shirts, blue jeans, distressed pants, shorts, open-toed shoes, tennis shoes or club wear. Blind zinfandel tasting: A tasting of five zinfandels takes place at the Wine Encounter starting at 7:00 p.m. Descriptions of the wines and the names of the wines will be provided, but not in the right order. Culture and cocktails: The DJ spins, exotic beverages flow, artworks dazzle and museum visitors glow at the San Diego Museum of Art’s popular sundown series. Biedermann and the Firebugs: In this play at Cygnet Theatre, Herr Biedermann discovers that the two men who have charmed their way into his home are the same arsonists who have already burned down much of the town. Beautiful Thing: Diversionary Theatre presents the heartwarming story of two London boys who fall in love during a hot summer in a southeast London housing project. Jamie and Ste’s attraction for one another grows from initial lingering glances to an irrefutable love. The show runs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. through Feb. 5. Tickets are $23 to $27.
