Bad Date Theater 3: Korbett Kompany Productions presents an alternative and humorous view of Valentine’s Day with a slate of one-act comedies about dysfunctional relationships performed at the North Park Vaudeville and Candy Shoppe. Yoga mixer: The Center’s Women’s Resource Center has teamed with Prana Yoga and Body-Mind Therapy to produce an evening-long event for women that features a two-hour yoga class followed by a dinner. The event will take place from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. at The Center, located at 3909 Centre St. Tickets are $20. Hips: Eveoke Dance Theatre premiers a documentary dance performance celebrating 14 single mothers who reveal their compelling stories and experiences. The performance runs through Feb.13 at the new Tenth Avenue Theatre downtown. Showtimes are Thursday through Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 to $20. Junior Vasquez: House music innovator Junior Vasquez takes the stage at the House of Blues at 8:30 p.m. One of the most celebrated DJs and remixers of his time, Vasquez also co-founded the legendary Sound Factory dance club in New York City. Duncan Sheik: The enigmatic singer-songwriter takes the stage at the Casbah to promote his new album, White Limousine. Sheik burst onto the scene with his hit single “Barely Breathing,” which earned him a Grammy nomination in 1997. Teddy Thompson and Jim Boggia also perform.
