William Lopez is the president of Alternative Strategies, a full-service marketing communications firm. The company’s capabilities include advertising, public relations, marketing, and graphic and Web design.
Lopez started the agency just over five years ago. Today, the agency is comprised of nine marketing professionals in an office in Hillcrest. The clients of this award-winning firm include Delta Air Lines, 24 Hour Fitness, Prudential California, Jefferson Pilot Communications and California Bank & Trust.
Recently, Alternative Strategies was recognized by the American Marketing Association for best nonprofit campaign for their work on a capital campaign for the San Diego Child-ren’s museum. They also received best Web site design for the Web site they created for SD City Homes and best overall ad campaign, which they won for their ad campaign for The David Alan Coll-ection.
Alternative Str-ategies recently managed the public relations events for the fashion shows of JLO, Sean John and Betsy John-son held here in San Diego.
Each year, Alt-ernative Strategies provides their services pro bono to three nonprofit agencies.
