Mr. Handyman is a licensed national franchised professional handyman service provider. The company was founded in 2000, but the central San Diego location, run by Nenette Agulto, has been in operation since May of last year.

“I got into this business because my friends and I had difficulties finding a good handyman,” Agulto said. “After hearing many complaints and horror stories of the handymen out there, I knew there had to be a better way. I found out about Mr. Handyman through a franchise broker. I was drawn to them specifically because of their commitment to providing excellent service to our customers.”

Mr. Handyman is a one-stop shop for a wide range of home repair and maintenance solutions. The company’s technicians are bonded and insured, and have over 15 years experience.

An independent survey of Mr. Handyman customers nationwide found that an impressive 98 percent of customers were satisfied with the work performed, and 93 percent would use Mr. Handyman again.

A San Diego native, Agulto has a professional background in information technology. A resident of University Heights, Agulto enjoys being outdoors, and is a volunteer for the Hillcrest Clean Team and a board member for L.E.A.P.S and Bounds, a nonprofit organization that provides therapeutic art programs to persons with disabilities, seniors and at-risk children.
