The National Women’s Basketball League’s San Diego Siege improved their record to 9-1 with a 69-67 win over the San Jose Spiders on March 4. The Siege remains in first place in their inaugural season playing in the NWBL.

The Siege had a 19-point lead at the half, but San Jose trimmed it down to 10 at the end of the third quarter. The Spiders held the Siege to 6 points in the third quarter.

The Siege’s next home game is on Saturday, March 11, at 7:00 p.m. against the San Francisco Legacy at San Diego City College’s Harry West Gymnasium. The Siege then plays the Colorado Chill at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, in another home game.
