The San Diego Bulldogs Wrestling Club will host a recruiting event and free wrestling clinic for beginners on Saturday, March 25, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the main auditorium of The Center.

The clinic is open to anybody who has an interest in the sport of wrestling, regardless of age, weight or athletic ability. Attendees will be able to meet and mingle with the Bulldogs wrestlers and then have a chance to step onto the mat and learn about the sport of freestyle wrestling.

Those who attend will also get an overview of how to get started in wrestling, the rules and scoring of a wrestling match, and will also get to learn a few basic wrestling moves.

Suggested attire is gym shorts, a T-shirt and flat-bottomed sneakers or wrestling shoes. Water and a towel are also recommended.

Those who join the Bulldogs Wrestling Club during the March 25 event will receive a San Diego Bulldogs Wrestling T-shirt and $15 off the club’s annual membership dues.
