San Diego Interior Design & Landscape Expo: For one weekend only at the San Diego Convention Center, experts in the field of home décor and design join with celebrity guests and top vendors of high-end home products to provide solutions for every challenge. Celebrity guests include Eric Stromer, star of TLC’s “Clean Sweep” and NBC’s “Three Wishes.” Stromer was recently featured in People’s “Sexiest Man Alive” issue. Hours are Friday, 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $10, children under 12 are free. Cesar Chavez celebration: The Cesar Chavez Memorial March will take place, rain or shine, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the corner of Imperial Avenue and 25th Street. Vintage Weekend: Experience fine wines from around the world, including Niebaum-Coppola, Tobin James Cellars and Jeriko Estate, during the Museum of Photographic Arts’ Vintage Weekend. Bid on rare and fine wines such as cases of 100 point-rated wines, California cult wines and French first growths. The wine tastings and the silent auction begin at 6:00 p.m., and the live auction begins at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $85 for MoPA members and $95 for non-members. Wild Ones: The San Diego Automotive Museum presents “Wild Ones –
Motorcycles in the Park” from March 31 through April 24. Always a favorite, the show features between 80 and 100 bikes of various vintage, design and performance. Admission is $6 to $7. The museum is located at 2080 Pan American Plaza in Balboa Park. (619) 231-2886.
5 Minute Man: Sick of meeting men in bars? Family Health Centers of San Diego’s Gay Men’s Health Program conducts this fun and interactive alternative to meeting guys in San Diego. Being Julia: The Old Globe presents a free screening of Being Julia, an intoxicating combination of wicked comedy and smart drama, starring Annette Bening and Jeremy Irons. The screening, which takes place in conjunction with W. Somerset Maugham’s classic masterpiece of manners The Constant Wife, starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Old Globe Theatre. Andrea Reschke: This San Diego-based singer-songwriter and pianist takes the stage at The Jumping Turtle in a local music showcase. The Constant Wife: Constance Middleton is beautiful, intelligent and utterly unconcerned with the fact that her husband is having an affair with her best friend. In this classic biting comedy of manners and mistresses, the delicate balance of love and marriage is upended when a shocking indiscretion is publicly revealed. The play runs April 1 to May 7 at the Old Globe Theatre in Balboa Park. Tickets are $19 to $59. Jazz in the Park: On the first Wednesday of each month, the San Diego Museum of Art presents regional jazz and blues musicians in an early concert at the Copley Auditorium. The show starts at 5:30 p.m., making it a perfect after-work change of pace. Concert tickets are usually $15. (619) 232-7931.

Cheese, wine and live jazz: Join the San Diego Wine & Culinary Center for live jazz and an ever-changing selection of wines, cheeses and cocktails. Wines from Cline Cellars will be featured this week. Featured wines are available as a complete flight for $7, by the half-glass for $3.50 to $5, or $6 to $10 for a whole glass. Cheese boards showcase some of the finest domestic and imported cheeses available. Mental karate: What do action movie stars Bruce Willis, Steven Seagal and Mario Van Peebles have in common? They’ve all turned to motivational speaker and karate expert Tom Muzila to help them prepare for films. Muzila will share his expertise with Sisters in Crime, a group of mystery readers and writers. Author of Mental Karate, Muzila will discuss self-empowerment through the martial arts. Guests pay $3 at the door.
