The Omen
Robert Thorn’s wife, Katherine, loses her baby in childbirth. The hospital priest presents Thorn with another child born that night, whose mother died in childbirth, and compels Thorn to take the child as his own. Katherine does not know the truth. As the child, Damien, turns 5, unsettling events begin to occur: He is the long-prophesized Antichrist. Thorn must make the ultimate sacrifice to prevent the terror that awaits the world.
A Prairie Home Companion
After 32 years, Garrison Keillor’s radio variety show is coming to an end. Fans file into the Fitzgerald Theater to see “A Prairie Home Companion,” a staple of radio station WLT, not knowing that WLT has been sold to a Texas conglomerate and that tonight’s show will be the last. Backstage cast and crew assemble for one last hurrah.
