Friday, July 28
Art of Pride reception
6:00 p.m.: Meet the participating artists at an early reception on the Pride festival grounds prior to the start of the Spirit of Stonewall rally.
Spirit of Stonewall rally
7:00 p.m.: The Pride grand marshals and other local dignitaries present a shorter, more powerful agenda at this year’s rally. The rally starts at 7:00 p.m. on the Jack FM Stage.
The Harbor Cruise
8:00 p.m.: The first of the official Pride parties casts off aboard the California Spirit, as this floating dance party cruises the San Diego harbor. For tickets and information, call (858) 623-9547.
The Pride Ball
10:00 p.m.: DJ Brett Henrichsen spins at 4th & B for this new Pride party. For tickets and information, call (858) 623-9547.

Saturday, July 29
Run and Stride with Pride
7:30 a.m.: Front Runners & Walkers San Diego presents its annual Run and Stride with Pride, a U.S.A. Track and Field-certified 5K run and noncompetitive 1.5 mile walk. Both events start at Sixth and Laurel streets and wind through Balboa Park. For information, log on to http://frsdweb.org.
Pride parade
11:00 a.m.: The Rainbow Mile, as it’s nicknamed, starts on University Avenue and Normal Street and travels west before turning onto Sixth Avenue, ending at Ivy Lane (near the festival entrance). The main reviewing stand is at University and 10th avenues. A second reviewing stand has been added on the corner of Robinson and Sixth avenues.
Pride festival
12:00 noon: The two-day Pride festival features more than 200 exhibitors, 10 music stages, food courts, beer gardens and areas catering to just about everyone in the GLBT community. Admission is $12 for the day (or $20 for both) with discounts for seniors, students and youth.
Pride T-Dance
5:00 p.m.: Debby Holiday performs at the first of three new dance parties on the Rocket HiNRG Dance Floor within the Pride festival grounds. DJs Jeremy and Rob Harris spin. Admission is free with entrance to the festival.

Cinema in the Park
Sunset: After the sun sets, the Buzz Great Lawn Stage is converted into a giant movie theater. Watch two gay-themed moves, JIM IN BOLD and Gay Pioneers. Admission is free with entrance to the festival.
Circuit Daze
10:00 p.m.: DJ Manny Lehman spins inside the San Diego Sports Arena nonstop ’til closing at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday. For tickets and information, call (858) 623-9547.
Sunday, July 30
10:30 a.m.: The San Diego Art Institute presents “Authors and Art,” a closing reception for its Pride-sponsored solo shows by artists Claire-Lise Matthey Anderegg and Jack B. Salb. The event features a reading by notable author Bernard Cooper, as well as readings by local authors Veronica Cunningham, Steve Montgomery and Liz Morrison. The event begins with a reception that will include food, beverages and a last chance to view the art show. The suggested donation is $5 to $10. A book sale and signing by Bernard Cooper ends the event at 12:30 p.m. Barnes & Noble and San Diego Writers, Inc. sponsor “Authors and Art.” The San Diego Art Institute is located at 1439 El Prado in Balboa Park’s House of Charm. Pride festival
11:00 a.m.: The Pride festival opens for its second day. A Couples Dance Floor has been added to the entertainment lineup, but just on Sunday. Entertainment headliners include Jason & deMarco, Liquid 360, John David Shepherd Band and Tiffany. Admission is $12 for the day with discounts for seniors, students and youth.

Front Runners & Walkers
1:00 p.m.: Metropolitan Community Church hosts this annual event on the Jack FM Stage. The Center’s Public Policy department is providing free domestic partnership registration at the ceremony.
Dyke March
1:00 p.m.: For the first time, the women in San Diego are taking to the streets during Pride weekend for the ninth annual Dyke March. A rally begins outside of The Center (located at 3909 Centre St.) at 1:00 p.m. Participants will march from there to the Pride festival. Latin T-Dance
4:00 p.m.: Club Papi and Granda Entertainment produce Pride’s second dance party on the Rocket HiNRG Dance Floor within the Pride festival grounds. India performs live. Admission is free with entrance to the festival.
The Zoo Party
4:00 p.m.: DJs Phil B and Tony Moran spin at the most popular dance of Pride weekend inside the world-famous San Diego Zoo. Kristine W. stops by for a live performance. For tickets and information, call (858) 623-9547.
Women’s T-Dance
5:00 p.m.: DJ Kiki spins at the third T-dance, which takes place in the Lavender Lens Women’s Space. Admission is free with entrance to the festival.

Dyke March
Fete Accompli
11:00 p.m.: Pride comes to a close with the last official dance party, Fete Accompli, with Rosabel (DJs Abel and Ralphi Rosario). Taking place at 4th & B and limited to only 1,800 tickets, this is the most intimate of dance parties. For tickets and information, call (858) 623-9547.
