Street Scene: The all-ages event features alternative rock from more than 50 bands this weekend. Friday, check out Kanye West, Social Distortion, Queens of the Stone Age, Yellow Card, Bad Religion and more. Saturday includes Tool, Snoop Dog, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, My Chemical Romance, The Shins, Sean Paul, Bloc Party, G. Love & Special Sauce, The Subways and more. Snoopy: The Musical fund-raiser: Coronado Playhouse is partnering with P.A.W.S. (Pets Are Wonderful Support) of San Diego County for a fund-raiser. Charles Schulz’s much-loved Peanuts comic strip characters come to life with a big-band, jazz-style score and 19 musical numbers. The play shows at the Coronado Playhouse until Aug. 6. Thank Globe It’s Friday: The Old Globe Theatre hosts a unique pre-show party that will include a hosted wine and martini bar, appetizers, and live music from a local San Diego artist in conjunction with performances of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Sisters Rosensweig. The events take place at 6:30 p.m. on the Globe Plaza, followed by the shows at 8:00 p.m. Tickets for the “TGIF” event are $68 ($52 for the theater ticket and $16 for the party). Learn what works and doesn’t work in this interactive wine dinner. Clogging lessons: Kickers Cloggers will be conducting beginner clogging lessons every Saturday morning for one hour, beginning Aug. 5, at Kickers/Hamburger Mary’s. Kickers Cloggers is a nonprofit dance group that travels to rodeos, Pride festivals and other special events throughout Southern California to help raise money for charity.

Bohemian art and treasures: Berkley’s Bohemian Art and Treasures Show takes place for one day only from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Tioli’s Crazy Burger, located at 4201 30th St. in North Park. The show will feature the whimsical and serious, both trained and untamed artists, poets, composers, foodologists, potters, experimentalists and the indescribable. All participating artists donate a minimum of 10 percent of sales to charity.

When Pigs Fly: Diversionary Theatre presents an exclusive showing of the hilarious musical Howard Crabtree’s When Pigs Fly to benefit the San Diego Men’s Chorus. Screen on the Green: In conjunction with Andy Warhol’s “Dream America,” the San Diego Museum of Art presents its seventh annual free outdoor film festival on Thursday nights in August. This week’s movie is A Day at the Races. The classic 1937 film stars Groucho, Harpo and Chico Marx as they pretend to be something they’re not in order to win a horse race and save a friend’s farm.
