Murray-Ramirez honored by city of West Hollywood

City Commissioner Nicole Murray-Ramirez, a longtime GLBT community activist, was honored in Los Angeles this month by the city of West Hollywood and the Los Angles Sheriff’s Department while attending a ceremony for the Los Angeles Nicole Murray-Ramirez Student Scholarship Fund.
The official commendation presented to Murray-Ramirez stated, “In recognition of your activism on behalf of GLBT equality, locally, statewide and nationally.”
Murray-Ramirez was active in the Los Angeles GLBT community during the 1960s and is a past recipient of the Los Angeles GLBT Pride and Christopher Street West Harvey Milk Activist Award, among other honors and recognitions.
