Three generations of women survive wind, fire and even death. To find out why, he takes a journey to the dark side of the all-American meal. Exploring immigrant-staffed slaughterhouses, teeming feedlots and cookie cutter strip malls, he discovers a “fast food nation” of consumers being consumed by an industry with an endless appetite for fresh meat.
