The San Diego Pool Association (SDPA) starts its winter season on Monday, Jan. 15, at various bars throughout San Diego.

Any individual players or groups of people interested in starting a team should contact Jorge Calvo at artemisin69@yahoo.com. Team registration has been extended to Monday, Jan. 8.

Beginning on Sunday, Jan. 14, the SDPA will host a weekly 9-Ball fund-raiser double-elimination tournament with a $100 first-place prize. The entry fee is $10. The tournament will take place at Shooterz bar, located at 3815 30th St.
