Madonnarama: Urban Mo’s/Kickers will host a “Madonnarama” CD/DVD giveaway event celebrating the release of Madonna’s Confessions Tour on DVD. The night will start out with free country two-step dance lessons from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and then the country dance floor will change directions as the community celebrates the release of Madonna’s latest tour on DVD, with DJ Taj spinning Madonna classics and more. Sex-positive art show: Closing day of “F-O-U-R” at The Rubber Rose will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The art show features a healthy and joyous exploration of sex through art by Kelly Hutchinson, Plastic God, David Russell Talbott and May-Ling Martinez, as well as music by Sus Mijos. The entire exhibit and boutique is a space that embraces and facilitates the development of a stronger, safer and more educated sex-positive community. GLBT Déjà vu: The fourth annual San Diego Black Film Festival adds a bit of twist this year by featuring several African-American GLBT-themed films in a segment called the “GLBT Déjà vu.” The screening will consist of three short films to be featured at 6:30 p.m. The event will take place at United Artist Theatre in Horton Plaza, located in downtown San Diego. Screening packages range in price from $40 to $250. The Flying Karamazov Brothers in Don Quixote: A very contemporary and very wacky political satire with music by the masters of juggling and hilarity will have a closing night extravaganza when the Lyceum Theatre presents Don Quixote at 2:00 p.m. The Flying Karamazov Brothers are on board for one last show of this visual delight to accompany Don Quixote’s own sweeping drama of a knight who dares to dream the impossible. There will be stilt-walking, sword-fighting, juggling, puppetry, romance and drama in this new adaptation of the classic. Ticket prices range from $34 to $43.
