Men’s Chorus fundraiser: Drop by The Hole tonight and help support the San Diego Men’s Chorus as they raise money for their trip to Gala Festival VII in Montreal. There will be a campy contest to determine the “King and Queen of Palomar Mountain.” A $5 donation gets you in the door. Dress in your best “mountain-wear,” from buckskins to sequins. There will be a 50/50 raffle as well. The Hole is located at 2820 Lytton Street. For more information, phone Randall at (619) 298-2756 or the chorus office at (619) 296-7664.

Stickball: Come out and catch a few games of good ole’ stickball, a game which got its start on the gritty streets of 19th-century East Coast cities. Little Italy continues the tradition with league play the first Sunday of every month on Columbia Street between Beech and Ash. Buildings, curbs, parking meters, signs and balconies are all considered fair territory. Bronx rules apply (no glove, batter pitches to himself), and the batter gets one swing and one swing only for his shot at street glory. Games start at 1:00 p.m. Call (619) 233-3898.
