Fay Grim: Fay Grim will be playing at the Ken Cinema at 7 p.m. In the movie, Parker Posey plays Fay, a single mother from Queens who is afraid that her teenage son will grow up to be like his father, Henry, who has been missing for seven years. The boy’s uncle is serving 10 years in prison for aiding in Henry’s escape from the law, and has been thinking about the tumultuous years of Henry’s presence among them – chronicled in writer/director Hal Hartley’s earlier film, Henry Fool. His suspicions that Henry was not the man he appeared to be are validated when the CIA asks Fay to travel to Paris to retrieve Henry’s property, pitching her deep into a world of international espionage. Tickets for the movie are $9 and may be purchased at the box office. Ken Cinemas is located at 4061 Adams Ave. 619-819-0236, www.landmarktheatres.com
