Sue Palmer and her Motel Swing Orchestra: San Diego’s Queen of Boogie Woogie, Sue Palmer and her Motel Swing Orchestra, will take the stage at the Belly Up Tavern at 8 p.m. Palmer has amazed audiences all over the world with her unique style. She delights in creating an atmosphere reminiscent of the small clubs and cafes of 1932 Paris, Harlem, West Texas and Hawaii. Her albums, which feature many of her own compositions, have been described as “full of fun and cool enough to cause crop damage to orange groves.” Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 the day of the show.
