Too Much Information: T.M.I. is not your average spoken word show. The hosts call it a “literary arts extravaganza and open mic for feminists and queers.” A diverse lineup of performers is scheduled to showcase original works at each event. The show encourages “cross-genre, stylistically innovative, queered-to-the-max, freaked-out literary pieces.” In addition to the scheduled, featured performances, audience members have the opportunity to sign up to read and perform their original work in the 5-Minute Readings portion of the event. T.M.I. is held at the Rubber Rose, located at 3812 Ray St. in North Park. Showtime is 7:30 p.m., with a suggested donation of $5-$7, although no one will be turned away for lack of funds. www.myspace.com/tmiopenmic
