The car business has a bad rap, says Chance Salaz, finance manager and sales consultant for Midway Jeep Chrysler, something he and the dealership he works for are trying to change.

“It’s a tricky business and has a reputation for being dishonest,” he said. “But I have never been happier with the respect, quality and honesty of Midway Jeep Chrysler.”

Salaz got his start working for his mother and later as a finance assistant at Cunningham BMW in El Cajon. After about seven months at Cunningham BMW, he took a position with Midway Jeep Chrysler.

“Midway Jeep is No. 1 in the country for Wrangler sales, and has the distinction of having the largest inventory on the West Coast,” he said, adding that he is personally excited about the 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, the only four-door SUV convertible, and the Chrysler 300.

“Chrysler is an American heirloom, expanding and succeeding along the way,” he said.

A San Diego native, Salaz admitted to being somewhat spoiled by the constant sunshine and beach lifestyle and said he makes the most of every moment. Salaz is also an active member of the GLBT community and said Midway Jeep Chrysler will participate in the 2007 Pride parade and festival.
