Where were you at 9 a.m. last Sunday morning? Laying in bed, recouping from the Texas Hold ’Em fund-raiser the night before in which we raised $750 for the AIDS Life Cycle 7 Ride

What person has influenced you more than any other, and how? Directly, my mother. She was a strong, committed woman. I am a strong woman who should be committed. Indirectly, I learned from others who are continually striving to impact their direct – or indirect – communities.

When don’t you feel equal? When I am on vacation and outside the safety of San Diego – or California

Where were you last Wednesday at noon? Missing my favorite business group luncheon, Wednesday’s BNG, and instead working on a few client trades before the market closed at 1 p.m.

When was the last time you felt proud? I feel proud monthly. I created a Ladies Texas Hold ’Em Monthly Fun(D)Raiser for local nonprofits and we are seeing approx 50 ladies and raising $1,000/month. If there was a defining moment in your life, what was it? I received two bachelor degrees from Texas A&M. I received very little aid, endured a lot of restless years and many tireless hours of non stop partying … I mean studying.

Where were you at 10 p.m. last Friday night? Missing a friend’s wonderful party in order to get ready for the Monthly Ladies Fun(D)Raiser

What is your most immediate goal? To get a hybrid car, be 100 percent ready for Pride (please stop by my booth I’ll be sharing with attorney Larry Ramey), continued success with the ladies monthly fund-raiser, striving for equality in life and, always, success for my clients and my business

When do you feel total joy? During the moment when I know someone is being affected by actions I am immediately involved in taking. Or, during those deep, painful laughs with friends playing Texas Hold ’Em.
